We would like to express our sincere thanks and appreciation to all who supported ASHRAE Boston Chapter last year.
The Boston Chapter of ASHRAE has recently completed a self-evaluation process that has included examining similar professional organizations in our area. This research indicated that these organizations are utilizing sponsorship to provide the most beneficial experience to its members. With the exception of the 2012 Region I CRC and the Chapter’s 100th Anniversary Gala, the Boston Chapter of ASHRAE has not looked to local corporate sponsorship to enhance what we can offer in terms of programs, professional development seminars, student education, and social events. The cost to operate the chapter, while continuing to provide the experience that members have grown accustom, increases every year. Furthermore, the Member Survey that was released last year revealed that there are things that members would like to see changed, improved, and added.
The Boston Chapter has worked hard during our off-season to line up great speakers and cutting-edge technical content for the main meetings and technical sessions during the 2017-2018 ASHRAE Boston season. In continuing our tradition we started last year, we are very excited to be hosting several monthly meetings in Boston. Our hope is that this alternative venue will attract an even greater amount of our industry professionals as well as other similar trade organizations.
Please take a moment to read through and consider one of the attached Sponsorship opportunities. Your commitment will help the Boston Chapter to elevate membership benefits to levels that cannot be supported simply through member dues and event registrations. Additionally, as with any corporate sponsorship, your support will provide your company with exposure to the expansive local ASHRAE community of equipment representatives, engineering firms, facility owners, and contractors.
We look forward to seeing you at the Boston and Waltham meetings this upcoming year and exploring sponsorship opportunities that will not only strengthen the ASHRAE mission in our area, but also provide new connections between our organization, its members, and your company.
