The 2016 Region I Chapter Regional Conference (CRC) was hosted by the Rochester Chapter in Rochester, NY. The 3-day conference entailed various business meetings, technical sessions, and committee workshops. The tour of the Genesee Brew House during the time between conferences was enjoyed by a lucky few. Another highlight of the CRC was the Award Luncheon. The Regional Vice Chairs (RVC’s) recognized the service and dedication of excellence shown by officers, and committee chairs of each chapter.
Congratulations and thank you to all of the Chapter Offi cers, Committee Chairs and volunteers whose support and dedication to the Chapter has allowed us to reach our Society goals and continue the Boston Chapter Legacy of Excellence. Next year’s Region I CRC – 2017 will be hosted by the Long Island Chapter.

The Region I CRC was held from Thursday, August 20 to Saturday, August 22 in Syracuse, NY this year and was hosted by the Central New York Chapter.
Throughout the event, the main theme was making connections. The event was mainly located at the Crowne Plaza Hotel in downtown Syracuse, NY along with many off-site activities. A Thursday night welcome dinner was held at Dinosaur Bar-B-Que. Friday night included a clam bake at Hinerwadel’s and many fun lawn games such as horseshoes, Frisbee, cornhole, and giant jenga. Our very own Boston chapter broke the restaurant’s record for tallest game!
